They were overjoyed to see the return of their favorite series, filled with spectacular events.

However, after this episode, interest in the story began to wane. But the new trailer has provided an explosive surprise that has confused the fans. The story appears to take fans back to the first season of *Kuruluş Osman*. Despite numerous demands from fans and the risk to the series' ratings, Osman Bey's historical companions were not brought back. Instead, the story attempts to balance itself by introducing a female villain years later.

For a moment, fans couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Sofia returning to the series. This news had actually been hinted at earlier, with constantly leaking photos and videos from the set. First, a picture showing some people on a Byzantine tomb began circulating, followed by highlights from the shoot in which Sofia turns around and stabs someone with a dagger. It all seemed coincidental, but the very next day, the thrilling trailer for the new episode revealed all the secrets. Sofia's sword fight with Lucas in the arena surprised everyone.

However, fans are struggling to accept Sofia's return because the series seems to be mirroring *Diriliş: Ertuğrul* in this regard. The popular villain Noyan followed a similar trajectory in the second season, and in the fourth season, he made a dramatic entrance. Now, the same has happened with Sofia's character. It’s not as if the series has resurrected a mere character. Initially, the deaths of these dangerous villains were shrouded in mystery.

Sofia fell from the fort wall after being wounded by a sword, and after that, Helen and her colleagues picked her up. Nonetheless, discussions about her return persisted for a long time. The death of the Mongol Balgai was also unexpected and hinted at a possible return. Until the third season, the buzz around Sofia's return remained, but the series team did not respond. Now that the fans have moved on, the series has begun to resurrect the dead and brought back Sofia. After all these years, Sofia doesn’t appear too old, which might be the most effective way to attract fans.

The new villains lack impact, so bringing back old characters seems necessary. The elimination of major characters was also intended to showcase the same old madness and bloodthirsty behavior of Sofia, which started with Sungur. Sunger Bey is often portrayed as a spy, and perhaps in Sofia's case, he learned the truth through espionage.

That’s why he was martyred. Sunger Bey entered the *Kuruluş Osman* series with Ertuğrul Bey, and now that was his last memory in the series. By martyring him, Sofia will inflict the first wound on Osman Bey, signaling her presence. Seeing Osman Bey’s tears and anger suggests this is going to be a significant confrontation. Like in the past, Sofia is poised to strike Osman Bey hard. Additionally, Karesi Bey’s sudden character change is a major surprise.

Karesi Bey has taken such a turn that even fans are baffled. He seems to be walking a double-edged sword. Earlier, he had planned with Lucas; now, why is he stopping and creating new drama? Fans are left wondering. He isn’t even positioned well enough to immediately join Osman Bey’s ranks, as he told Lucas that Osman Bey would lose badly this way. Karesi Bey knew Osman Bey would retake the fort from Lucas and, considering it property of the Turks, cannot attack it. Now, he prefers to stab Osman Bey in the back rather than confront him directly.

Lucas will return after hearing Karesi Bey's plan, leading to a confrontation between him and Osman Bey. Surrounding Osman Bey is not an easy task; he quickly comprehends Karesi’s plan and plays his part, thus handing over the fort to Karesi. Instead of dealing with Lucas’s large army at this moment, it seems wiser to ally with Karesi Bey, as it will be easier to take that fort. As for Karesi Bey meeting Osman Bey, that will proceed slowly.

The Byzantines will likely betray Karesi, and he will come to understand Osman’s true power. There is a lot of anxiety within the tribe due to all this commotion. The departures of Holofera and Goncha are creating new problems, and even Gunca has suddenly disappeared from the tribe. Where has she gone? Will she fall into enemy hands and return with a plan? Tell us in the comments which scene from the previous episode was your favorite. And share the article!
